Shadow's Mini Bar: Located on A. Santos Street on the right side of the road as you're walking from Fields Avenue. Blow Row. I made this a regular morning stop. It was a fun place to hang out and talk with other tourists. No loud music and nobody pushing lady's drinks. The girls are very nice. This is not a fancy place. There are rooms in the back. They're small and no aircon. All the girls here specialize on licking and sucking. Some will only provide oral service, so if you want half/half (suck/screw) make that clear up front. If you see a girl you like, you talk to her a bit. Most of the girls speak very little English. Let the girl of your choice know you want to visit the back. Pay the cashier P400. You will also pay for any drinks you ordered. They don't seem to have any bathing facilities for the patrons. "It's now six in the morning and those of us still standing head down to Shadows bar on Santos Street. Now this was a pleasant surprise. Mostly the old motto 'pay peanuts get monkeys', has steered me fairly well and as such I wasn't suspecting much in terms of quality companionship. I was wrong wrong wrong. Shadows had about 15 girls five of which were as good as any of the girls in the more mainstream bars in fact two of them were gorgeous. Best of all if they are working in Shadows you just know they have enviable oral skills. To be honest a little trip to a bar in Santos Street was the high point of this particular trip and I have no hesitation recommending Shadows for at least one visit. Ok you won't get the music or the dancing but think of it as a no frills bar where what you see is what you get." mjibbo. "Love the place. The staff are absolutely GREAT." Mo. "Saw one little cutie 'A'. She wasn't very talkative but very cute. I got her a ladies drink and talked for a bit. Thought a short time was definitely in order. Went in the back and she was hesitant at first. I thought I may have an inexperienced girl but I think she was teasing me. She was slowly taking the clothes off and sucking on a lollipop seductively while she did it. She got undressed and she had a sweet little body. Nice and tight with no fat at all. She started rubbing her whole body against me. It did not take me long to be ready and pop the umbrella on. She wanted me to drive and I had no problem with that. Very nice but I was done very quickly because she was fairly tight for a short time girl. No BJ offered but I didn't ask for one either. I am sure if I would have it would have been no problem. Just a tissue to clean up and put the clothes back on. The rooms leave something to be desired. The sheets don't seem to be changed between customers. I guess being a degenerate has its little drawbacks. This place definitely reminds me of the old Subic days. Used to be a whole street of bars just like this in Subic. Normally they had the cold bucket shower in Subic. I don't know if they supply one here. I didn't ask. I figured I would go back to the hotel and get a proper shower. Prices: beer 30P, ladies drink 80P, and short time 400P. Makes for an enjoyable afternoon. If you are finicky about previous customers I would not suggest a trip to Santos." Mark T.

Shaggers: "Had a late lunch at the Swaggy yesterday so I wandered into their new club on the backside of the pool. Was pleasantly surprised by it. Nice place with 5 attractive dancers on stage, one on a drink, and 2 waitresses. The dancers were as good looking as most Field Ave clubs and there were a couple in the lineup that I really liked. I was there shortly after their opening at 3 pm so I don't know if they have more dancers at night or when they close down. Wouldn't say to make a special trip over there to go to Shaggers but if you are over that way anyway it's worth stopping in." Tomkat2000 (01/2004)

Shamrock: The former Irish Pub. Closed.

Shano's (formerly Octopussy): Open 9/00. Closed. Reopened as Suckers.

Silk Stockings: Closed.

Silver Bullet: Located at 4171 Zeppelin St., Hensonville, near the Villa Modesto Hotel. It has the local expat crowd, inexpensive prices, beautiful dancers and GROs, and barfines only P900, ladies drinks P80, local drinks P35. Very beautiful bar with Field Ave quality without the expense to you. Open from 1pm to 11pm daily, you will find a honey there every time. Just tell your trike driver you want to go to Hensonville and you can't miss it! Owner Tim Ventrelli, retired US Navy. Manager Barry "Bubba" Stafford, helicopter mechanic and former owner of Bubba's (now Champagne). "This relatively new bar is a beautiful, clean and bright place. The entrance features a standard bar/billiard area which is brightly lit and very welcoming. Step around the corner to your right and there is a very respectable dance stage against the mirrored wall. The glow of the red stage lights really makes the girls features more attractive and is a soothing alternative to the pulsating multi-colored light ever-present on Fields Ave. I have been there several times now, and I must admit they have a very attractive and cute lineup of girls that rivals most Fields Ave joints. They had quite a few real beauties in there, and the rest were all attractive by any standard with thankfully none of the pudge in sight. Either the management has a real eye for talent or they are just plain lucky. The girls have generally nice personalities and are mostly bereft of the usual attitude prevalent in the larger Fields bars. I have been told that they don't get BFd often, and are not spoiled with a lot of LDs due to the current customer volume and habits, so they probably would be more inclined to please. The mamasan is formerly from Good Times Bar. She is quite friendly, and having limited experience in the industry, lacks the pushy, smooth talking bola-bola associated with some of the other more seasoned mamasans. She is a simple woman, which is a refreshing change. The Papasan seems stuck like glue to his chair. Put him, and the papasans of Welcome Inn and La Bamba on a park bench at the side of the road, and they just might remain there, unmoving to eternity. They have one pool table which is almost always busy. There appears to be the same group of local crewcut expats hanging out at this place daily, usually gathered around the bar, out of sight of the dancers on stage. I like the fact that they have this separate bar area where you can have a quiet intimate conversation away from the stage. Silver Bullet bar has a lot of potential, but I foresee it having a tough time surviving if only that regular group of the same guys patronize the place. Tourists and visitors to AC should trek out there and give it a try. You probably wont be disappointed. I believe Silver Bullet bar is open from 1:00pm to 11:00pm. It is located on Malabanias Street, right before Sta. Maria Street, near the entrance to Hensonville Homes. Malabanias Street runs southwest off Don Juico Ave. (Perimeter Rd.) and is the first major street past the Petron Station. It is a Y intersection, as opposed to a T intersection. Just tell the trike to take you to Malabanias St. in Hensonville. You pass the new hospital on your right side, the road turns to the right, you go down a hundred or so meters, and Silver Bullet is on your left. There are lots of trikes available to take you back. Even from Lower Fields, at tourist prices, a trike should be no more than 60 to 70 peso to get there." Norman (02/2003)

Speakeasy: "Spread Easy first trip @ 10 good fun with waitress. 2nd trip @ 1 slow. Had 3 bf that day and yes I know about questions but 2 totally useless and dumped (Thi Hi & Stampede) one from Misty's." Engineman (11/2005)

Sphinx: Formerly Cleopatra. "The owner is an American name of William has been living in Thailand for many years and owns a large night club there." Sully (06/2003). Owner David Anderson, an American, arrested on August 29, 2003, for allegedly operating the club without a permit.

Splash: Renamed "The Marine Bar" then "Pattayaland."

Stampede: Perimeter Road go-go. Pool table. Snack menu. Open noon to midnight.

Stinger: Located at 297 Raymond St. Hard to say what's happening here. Sometimes it's great and sometimes fair. They had a reputation for having some of the freshest young girls in town, but that's not true now. Still, you can often find a beauty in here so it's worth stopping in for a look. Owner is Gary Stone. "The old black shorts with moth holes the size of golf balls have finally been replaced with a nice white bikini and stockings with white suspenders for the girls. Unfortunately the knee high fuck me boots so often favored by Stinger girls have been replaced by High heel shoes. They have also installed a few more black lights and Sadam has spent a little money on the upholstery. Now that really was a surprise. Best of all there was a whole lot of scrumptious new girls all nicely presented. When in Stinger make sure you try and hook up with Dallas the manager, a good guy and always fun to party with." mjibbo. "A lot of the better looking girls at Stingers seem to be cherries. There are a couple of super smokers in there that don't go with anyone. You have to go in at the right time as the lookers get snatched quick." Candyman. "I found the staff very pushy about selecting a girl and buying her a drink. I was thinking was I on Magsaysay in Subic about 20 years ago when these tactics were going on?" Bubba. "Surprised to see the old mamma from Y bar had moved here and she immediately orders me a 'San Miguel Light no condom' and a shot of Quervo. We had quite a time on my last trip to Angeles. Stinger has three different bells one can ring, one for the dancers on stage, one for the bar staff and the third for the whole crew. I have momma ring for the dancers on the stage, it's fun to here the girls yell and scream. Of course I pick tequila for the ladies and the fun begins!" Mickey. "Had a great time here. Another good place to play pool. Some very attractive girls here. I spent 5 hours in this bar one night and enjoyed every minute." Grady Seasons (03/2002). "Great lineup of pretty girls. I was drinking with owner Gary Stone and his manager, Tango, just a couple of days ago." Paul (11/2003)

Strangers: Located on A. Santos Street (Blow Row) on the right side of the road as you're walking from Field Avenue.

Suckers: Formerly Shano's, which replaced Octopussy. Spent a few months as Lollipop. Off the beaten path and easy to miss.

Super Star: Renamed "Bedrock."
