Queen Teller: Located on A. Santos Street on the right side of the road as you're walking from Fields Avenue. Blow Row. It's best not to even look on the left side, as the billy boys will talk with you. Last time I was in Queen Teller there was a billy boy in there. Told the owner I didn't like it. She said he was harmless and doesn't bother anyone. I told her it turns off the customers. Didn't seem to give my opinion much weight. Those bars down there are all sleazy. I only go there when I am polluted to the gills. "We often hear the well-known phrase 'the left side of Santos' used to disparagingly designate the 'bakla' side of that street which must be avoided. However, this term actually has become inaccurate because it's overly broad. Extensive observation reveals that there now are more women working on 'the left side of Santos' than billy boys. For example, the most manly of customers would not have to be ashamed to patronize places on 'the left side of Santos' such as Caddy Shack bar, Duke of York bar, Aqua Hut massage, Luz bar, and the bar (with no sign) named Apollo Nights. Interestingly, even the infamous bakla bar, Firestone Empire, now sometimes has one or two fairly attractive women available." Mr. Wonderful. "The quality of girls has improved on the right side of Santos. Beware the left side of the street though unless you like guys in drag. Personally I wouldn't go down there at all after dark but it's a fun place to kill some time during the day." Wanderer
