Mateship

There is another element not often spoken about. I don't know about the other guys but I enjoy seeing some of the fellows. Aussies call it "mateship." In my life here in America there are few opportunities for me to go out with the boys and have a rousing good drinking, joke telling evening with the boys (and go off with the girlfriend after without getting a ration of shit). I'm surrounded by people here in the states who have never served their country, have never been anywhere nor done anything, who are cowed and bow before the male-demeaning feminists, etc. Let me get amongst the men who enjoy a night out, enjoy mateship and enjoy the pleasures of a good lady who seems to know what is wanted of her.

So, here's to Subic, AC, LoS and the other places in the world where we can enjoy ourselves. A toast to their ladies and the ones who will put up with the likes of us and to the friends we meet and share a laugh or two with and have a couple of glasses raised on high. 

I wouldn't travel if they had it at home.
