Alex Cauguiran to be new Angeles chief of staff

Alexander Cauguiran outgoing executive vice president of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) will join the Angeles City Government effective June 15 as chief of staff.

It is the same post he has held when Edgardo Pamintuan was city mayor from 1992 to 1998.

As a new member of the Pamintuan administration, Cauguiran exhorted City Hall employees to observe punctuality and practice good work ethics in the performance of their respective tasks.

He was appointed by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as undersecretary of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) and after which he became a political attaché in San Francisco, USA, where he conferred with the Filipino-American communities in the west coast. Then, he accompanied Arroyo at the Asia-Pacific Economic (APEC) summit in Chile.
